I had a great birthday, many thanks to all those on deadjournal that wished their Smoo Goddess well. It was probably the best birthday I ever had.
When I turned 21, I went to SeaWorld with my parents since they give out free alcohol. I had a Bacardi Silver.
When I turned 20, I sat around the house. Not like Your Momma sat around but just sitting inside it.
When I turned 19, I took three finals and got dumped by my first boyfriend. Sat in a car for five hours too.
When I turned 18, I took my dreaded AP calculus final, my pet frog Dr. Seuss died, and my high school love, Andy, bought a lotto ticket with me and I haven't seen/spoken with him since that day. So it goes.
When I turned 17, I took finals but Angie gave me a key lime pie. :)
When I turned 16, I had just moved to a town I like to call HellOnEarthsVille and didn't have any friends yet. So I sat around and was lonely in between calls from my south Florida friends.
When I turned 15, I was showered with keychains, balloons, foodstuffs, and over the top affection by my friends even though Andy gave me a birthday card with a candy cane in it (my pet peeve, don't even get me started on it) That was my best birthday ever until my most recent.
When I turned 14, I played arcade games all day. It was great.
I don't remember anything from 13 or before but I didn't really expect to remember this much. I didn't mean to write it either but there it is for your enjoyment. I probably just had sleepovers with my soccer team for <13.
Anywhoo, this past birthday was awesome. I can't even begin to list all the fun stuff I did so I don't know if I will even try. No one gave me a candy cane so that made it even better. I am munching on a candy cane now though and it's fine. Yum. Anywhoo, picture time!
The Inner Circle of the Smoo Crew from left to right... Josh, Angie, Les, Me, and Robby. We're up in Ocala. Feel free to laugh at me in subsequent pictures because, while all of my friends are from The Frigid North (Georgia and above according to me)I was born and raised in South Florida, so yes, December in Florida is very very cold and merits a heavy jacket and long johns. In every picture I will be wearing a jacket next to my idiot Yankee friends in their short sleeves. Thank God none of them wore shorts cuz that would only make me look wimpier.
( We're Gonna Sip Bacardi Like It's Your Birthday! ) As far as presents go, I received in addition to the oodles of keychains that is my norm, a very cute walrus named Archie from Angie, Godiva from Josh- the dark chocolate assortment- yum!, and a fiber optic bonsai tree from Les. My parents gave me two cool shirts with Marvin the Martian and the Pink Panther, nifty frog socks, and a spiffy dragonfly neclace. The best present was Angie coming to visit me. I'm glad she got to meet Milo and Big Papa but sad that she didn't get to meet my newts or see my new purpley room.
Thanks to all that contributed to my kickass birthday!
